General Discussion / PC repair business (theoretical)
« on: October 17, 2012, 10:50:58 PM »
I'm doing business studies at college, it's kind of my best / main subject.
We've gotta come up with a business idea which we think would survive locally, do market research etc and prove so in a presentation.
We have to hand some in tomorrow, so I thought I had better come up with something xD
My town is full of old people or families. Lots of old people have computers, so do 90% of teenagers etc. So I figured a call out PC repair business might work?
There has been lots in 'which' magazine and in the news recently about untrustworthy companies failing to do this correctly, charging extra and that stuff.
So a local, trustworthy business which can diagnose / repair at your house. (old people can't transport PCs?)
Do you guys think that potentially it could work? Obviously we are only doing the market research part and don't need to do any of it, but I wanted a solid idea.
I figure a lot of PC users don't know enough to troubleshoot problems (Neither do I, I just ask you guys xD), so I figure there is quite a big market.
I will probably come back in a couple of days with a questionaire or something, and pretend my answers are from people who know nothing about PCs
Cheers
