Title: New Mouse.
Post by: Azbec on June 23, 2012, 10:39:29 AM
So, as the title says; I need a new mouse. Currently using the CM Storm Sentinel and I'm sick of the thing.
Seeing as peripherals aren't a subject I'm too down to earth in, I'm hoping some of you might have some reccomendations.

I prefer palm grip mice, but I can also use claw grip.
Preferably I want to spend less than £60.
It has to be wired and if possible, I'd like a button on the thumbgrip that I can use for sniping.
Also, It has to be 3000+ DPI (4000+ if possible).

A few I've found so far, though opinions are more valuable than the manufacturer's text.
Razer Deathadder
Cyborg RAT 5
Logitech G500

Any help will be most appreciated!

Got this, would highly recommend it. The buttons on the right side are a bit harder to get to, so I use them as macros for server connect using the console and a gl hf macro that only get used 1/2 times a day. The two on the left I use for knife and reload, and the dpi adjustment buttons can be mapped to another mouse button. All of the buttons can be mapped as a macro, a single key like a keyboard or as a normal mouse button. Its got good software from razer and comes in your budget.

I have the same mouse as boba. It is good but has a problem called z-axis google it for more info. If you was going to buy a mouse always type the mouse into google and add issues to the end to see the problems with it. My suggests from me would be steelseries, logitech or some of roccats. Really it is down to you. Try giving us more of a idea like what grip you like or what dpi you use stuff like that.

I thought I posted what grip I prefer :o
Well I will repeat: I prefer palm grip but I can use claw grip.
Most of the time I'm operating between 3800-3000 DPI. 1500 if I'm sniping in Tribes (this is also why I need a thumbgrip button).

Hope that gives more of an idea.
