Well you could go two ways. You could give a man a bunch of material and he'll build a base for a day or you could teach him how to fish... no wait, that's not right...
You could either, put in building materials or the tools to harvest said materials. In other words pickaxes rather than rough stone, hatchets to gather wood (although they're obviously found elsewhere, they could be in bulk in the boxes), entrenching tools and manuals. However, one material that would be nice to find, in bulk, in a loot box would be sheet metal (which we can now craft into 10 nails! ) Bizarrely, food and water are almost equally important. You go through it like nothing else when building. To sum up, I reckon a building box should contain pickaxes, hatchets, entrenching tools, manuals, sheet metal, water bottles and MREs. 18

You obviously don't realise the amount of time and effort and hours of work it took to build that. So why shouldn't we defend it when we can? I don't get some people, I really don't... Not too fussed about the stuff in the base though, all of that is replaceable We'll get it all back again, so bring it 19

Hey folks. Well we've spent several hours building a base and having completed the fence to a decent level and putting up a gate, I updated the gate with the padlock. It gave me the options to set the code and unlock the gate, but when I selected either of these, nothing else comes up. From what I've read, it's supposed to bring the combination lock up on screen so that you can enter the number, but this isn't happening.
Is it something on our server preventing this? Any ideas? 21
