Title: MSI GTX970 4G
Post by: Dave790 on March 21, 2015, 06:30:30 PM
Nvidia graphics card , Maxwell chip, 4 Gig (3.5 really) of RAM. Awesome FPS in Pinkys at Very High settings, plays all games at Ultra settings with very high FPS. I don't play with config files and all adjustments are done in game, £280 well spent. Just don't tell the missus that it cost £280  ;)

I have a 970 too mate, and it is AWESOME for sure :)
Even on Arma III - I clicked on auto-settings and it put everything on ultra... Smooth sailing all the way.

Definitely good bang for buck!

Second GTX970 added, performance on Metro redux and Dying light is a vast improvement at 1440P. FPS counts coming soon, i will have to force SLI to work with Arma2 engine but work in progress.

It's FPS time..... Through shadow play.... Metro last light is lowest 90FPS and the usual 130FPS. Dying Light is a solid 100 FPS.

How is the rig going for you now mate?
It will be interesting to see how the latest and greatest games will play on it.

No further updates to the Rig, i have a profile in MSI Afterburner that gives me 1503Mhz on both cards and it's stable but i have them on a subtle overclock at the moment. I'm getting smooth 60+ FPS on Exile with all the settings on Ultra and a resolution of 1440P, i just clicked 'auto detect' and Arma3 did all the hard work  ;)
A Corsair 600C case is looking like the next purchase  8)
