Okay, so I bought a DayZ server VERY recently, and so far its turning out okay. Well, I say okay if you don't mention that it took for ever to get going and that there is a lack of players at the moment. Because I joined this clan not long ago, and I signed up for DayZ, I think posting the server on here will be a good option.
Who hosts the server?
The server is hosted by [removed] and it can hold 40 people with some rather nice tools and for a quite cheap price. The website can host ArmA 2, DayZ and ArmA 3 servers and I would recommend it if you want to set up a server yourself and are looking for a cheap price! Although you may have to wait some time, it is worth it.
General Info
Right, so the server is a private hive. I don't think I have the need to change allot of things, but if you want something added or changed, I will see what I can do about it and consider it. The load out that you spawn with is a bandage, painkillers, patrol pack (coyote) and a flashlight. Nothing too fancy, just the bare basics that you need for survival. The original vehicle spawns will remain where they are, but I may add some more spawns in, if I feel that there are too little vehicles, or the server is too hard with the amount on it. The restart is scheduled every 3 hours and I feel that it is appropriate. I will be making some admins, but I will try not to give too many permissions or commands to them, so they cannot abuse the admin panel too much, and so that all of the other players feel that the game is fair. Of course, because this is a new server, I don't have any admins, and if you want to be one, just leave a reply below!
Upcoming Features
What I want to add to the server, is some special load outs for members of ugN and donators (if there are any). Here are some other things I think will be implemented in future updates of the server:
- More vehicles that are not originally in DayZ
- More weapons that are not originally in DayZ

A little quick update, you now spawn with painkillers x1, baked beans x1, Coke x1, Morphine x1, Blood bag x1, hatchet, flashlight, bandage and patrol pack.

if I were you matey I'd ask some of the admins here, they know quite a bit about the programming of servers as we used to have one ourselves

Another quick little update!
I have added a URAL at the NWA, a heli at the NWA, ATV outside cherno and more!

I'll be on it as much as I can although I'm pretty bogged down with revision for my A Level exams at the moment :L
Hopefully it will get populated, it's just a matter of time really, and if you need help with adminning (if that's a word) on it I'd be more than happy to help out as would I'm sure everyone who plays DayZ at ugN :D

I'm not sure this is the best little offer for the ugN community, but I am willing to give any weapon with 1 mag of ammo to every ugN player who plays! :D You can only choose a weapon once, so choose wisely, and there wont be any replacements if you die with it! :D

It's your server, do as you please on it.
But, to advertise your blatant 'bending of the rules' attitude is not acceptable here.
Spawn loot, guns, vehicles all as you like but this is a non-cheating clan and the likes of this will never be tolerated. Be it an 'admin tool' or not, it's gaining an unfair advantage over the general players and is the same as purchasing a gamehack.
