Title: DayZ mod issues
Post by: Mitton on August 03, 2016, 10:02:10 AM
Hey

We had such a laugh on DayZ last night ;D  Honestly, it was painfully funny in a very good way.  The game needs barely any tweaking at all, apart from just a couple of bugs we've found below.

1/ If we fall unconscious, when we resume consciousness we're invisible to other players until we enter a vehicle or re-log.  All the other player can see is your unconscious body on the ground.

2/ Sometimes trying to change weapons on the scroll wheel doesn't work.  The options to switch primary and secondary and melee weapon are there, and we can select them, but the change doesn't happen.  You need to go into inventory and manually move melee weapon to the carrying slot.

3/ The number of zombies and also their attack speed (not run speed) is much higher than it used to be.  It's really overly difficult just to survive the zombies.  The grace period when you've killed a big batch is also very short.

4/ Food doesn't restore blood levels like it used to.

5/ One of the custom medical camps in Cherno doesn't spawn in properly.  The tents are arranged in an odd way that prevents you getting into most of them.

And I think that's it ;D

Self bloodbagging does not give all of your blood back, but if someone else gives you blood you get full blood back

That's a good complaint, the bloodbag :)

Any luck with the unconscious?

Haven't been unconscious today so not sure.  It won't be far away though ;D

Everything seems to be working perfect.  The zombies feel overly abundant and powerful, and there's no real grace period if you've slain them all, but other than that... :D
