By anal he means precise with an unflinching attention to detail - and I appreciate the compliment Paniic thank you.

As far as the 6950 2GB goes of all the current crop of GFX cards its supposed to give you the most bang for your buck. So not fastest you can buy, but fast enough and at a great price.

I think out of those three u mentioned Firnen, the best is the 6950 as long as it's the 2GB version.

60 fps is not much, i have 60 fps with my gt 130 (not on max though)
you should always try to get the max fps which is around 80 in mw3

If you want to get all anal, then do it properly  :P

91 is the max FPS you can get in MW3 multiplayer  ;)

I was talking about games that came out recently. Not engines from 4 years ago xD I havent tested my MW3 FPS because well, the graphics are pisspoor and ive never noticed a stutter in my life.

Battlefield 3, Skyrim both run steady 60fps with vsync on, i dont think it could take much more either tbh but it runs steady xD Star wars the old republic doesnt drop below 70 or so and sits at about 100 without crazy shit going on.

Will have to check my MW3 fps

I get 90 average fps in MW3, just checked.

Resolution is an important factor too actually :P 1920x1080 = ftw.

If you'll continue playing on that resolution then get whichever GPU is cheaper but if you're thinking of also upgrading your monitor in the near future ( playing on resolution of 1680x1050 or higher ) then I'd go with the 6950 2GB as the additional memory rly helps pushing those FPS on higher resolutions.

It really depends on how much money you have (and want) to throw around on a new card. Lower end wise, you would probably be better of looking at either the radeon 6790, 6850 or the 6870. If nvidia is more your thing then the gtx 460 or the 560 are both fairly good cards. If you want to spend more money, then as previous comments have suggested, the gtx 560ti or the 6950 are both great cards for the money; with the 6950 pushing a little bit more performance out.

i have a good monitor( i could play up to 1960x1300 with it). its just that my grafic card sucks. i have black stripes to the left and right... xD
